Holy Jeebus, Marist humor.

Okay, I'm giving you guys a ten. Why? Cuz I went to Marist, class of 2000, and even lived in Gartland Commons my junior year. Did they ever fix the silverfish problem there? o_O

I figured it was only a matter of time before someone from Richard Lewis' animation class found their way to this website. I wonder if he still shows my crappy old animation from 1998 to start off every semester.

For the people who have no clue - yes, Marist College is exactly like this, every day. I can't remember all the times I've seen Ethiopians running around campus. Did you know there's a notorious Poughkeepsie event from about 5 years ago where a guy was killing Po-town hookers and stashing their bodies under his bed. Good times in the city.

I'll be waiting for episode 3!

Horrid.

Holy jeebus that was bad. Let me take a guess - you saw that the "Hey Ya!" sprite movie made it to the front page, so you thought you'd give it a shot.

First of all, why the hell are there sprites in this movie that have NOTHING TO DO with Mega Man?

Second of all, you need to set your music to STREAM. It's currently on EVENT, and that's why it's not timed correctly.

Third of all... learn to use Flash before you submit a potential Turd of the Week movie, because this looks like it's heading right for the poop chute. Good luck getting you already poor credibility back after that happens...

BuRnBoY responds:

It that's a zero all your movies are 2s.

Good job, guys!

Hey guys, great job representing with Group B of the Time Trial. I'll go through and comment for all of you.

HatterClock - I liked it, a classic concept using everyday object. the "stuttering" animation style was pulled off very well. A little disappointed that you copped out and thre in a gun. Would have been funny to see the knife and spoon duke it out. :)

J_sMoOtH - that was great! The ending is predictable, but that's okay, because the joke was set up in fine fashion. Audio's a little scratchy, but the voices are wonderful.

Freek_Sk8er - From what I understand your whole entry was not represented here, so I won't pass judgement. If you resubmit the whole thing solo, I'll throw you a review.

Seizure_Dog - That was really well done. It's a little hard to follow in some places, because all of the characters look the same, but I still managed to get the general idea and it was pulled off pretty well for a three-day project.

Dark_Drako - Looks like you might have bit off more than you could chew, trying to build and animate the whole character in limited time. A tip - you're animating too slowly. Don't be afraid to shorten up your tweens. ESPECIALLY on the bullet. I've never seen a bullet travel so slowly. :)

Good job to all!

J-Smooth responds:

Thanks Needle :)

We all appreciate the review.
You yourself did a fantastic job on representing Group A. I havent seen an original flash like that in a while.

Once again we all thank you, and really appreciate the review.

Buggy but Fun.

Yea, okay, so there are some bugs. I didn't find as many as some other people did, but I got stuck in a few rooms. Nothing a little bit of repeated trying couldn't fix.

I did finally finish the game. I see a lot of complaining about the Monkey Game... it took me a bit to realize that if you just hold the right arrow and constantly run, you're aligned to hit every hoop. You're only responsible for pressing up at a timed interval. Using that method I eventually managed to score 69 Billion...

Like all other Frank's Adventure games, there's a way to get money fast, you just have to look a little harder this time around :)

One suggestion - if you plan on doing a fourth installment, could you drop the cocaine thing? You've gotten to the level of sophistication where I don't think it's necessary. he other four pictures were much more interesting to find.

Great Improvements.

I remember the previous versions when they were new on Newgrounds, and I must say this is a major improvement. There's no more cheating (holding down the spacebar) and the skill levels are fine-tuned. Unfortunately my computer is pretty freakin' old, so I couldn't even beat level 2 - but that's okay. :)

Simple, but neat.

chickenking responds:

thanks a lot.

Needs Balance.

You definitely need some sound effects... just an engine loop or the sound of popcorn being run over.... anything. I think that would help a lot.

I like your game, but it really need ssome balance. I felt like it got way too fast, too quickly. Here's an interesting, Tetris-like suggestion: How about adding a timer, and each time the timer reaches zero, your car reaches a new level of speed? And here's some incentive: each time you run over a popcorn kernel, you gain a second on the clock! That way the user could use his or her skill to keep the game from getting out of hand.

Well, it's just an idea anyways. Keep working on it! You've got a great start!

Hypnotized

The power of the Kittytoast is invading my brain and twisting my spine! The cuteness is liquidating my brain and corrupting my insides!

Hey, I kinda like it.

I created Strategy Guide in 2003, retired from Flash animation in 2005. Always pondering a comeback and never actually doing so.
