Jeebus.

Your art direction is amazing. Cutting from shot to shot is so seamless and mesmerizing. This must have been difficult to plan out. I had no idea what was going on, and it didn't even matter. I was in awe the whole time.

Sticks Done Right.

This is definitely one of the better stick action movies on Newgrounds. I'm not really big on sticks, but you did a really good job on this one. At the end, when the two final fighters are wrestling for the sword, I couldn't help but laugh, even with death on the line!

Looking forward to your future projects.

Thanks, Needle. It's good to know that even people that aren't into the stick genre like my work. I also thought it would be good if there was some humor in the end. Thanks for the approval, Needle.

Good times!

As someone who long ago played a troll on Kay... good lord that was funny.

Very nice.

I hope this survives. Every comedy situation is unpredictable, which makes it absolutely great. Sometimes when you think you can see a joke coming from a mile away, it's easy to let your guard down. Good job on ripping the system!

My plan worked then

Tacky.

It seems kinda tacky to have this long, elaborate 3D intro to a movie featuring stick figures who die. Especially considering I can watch 100 movies of stick figures dieing without a tacky intro every single day on Newgrounds.

Very Slow

You've got some serious pacing issues here. Your credits are painfully long - possibly longer than the movie itself - which is just unecessary, especially when one person does the whole film.

Then, after crawling through the slow dialogue, there's zero payoff.

I know you probably worked hard on this, but you're going to have to work harder if you want to make it through the portal.

Nice Style.

You get points for style. Lots of people have trouble making stick figures look alive, but you've managed to make simple dots dance around. I gotta at least give props for that.

The music is a little grating, but I can deal with that.

awesome-animator responds:

yeah, i hate people that vote on the music, its the only thing i could throw in

Huh?

Your new graphic style is tracing Akira Toriyama's style using old DBZ clips? intriguing.

Stolen in Concept

This is more or less stolen from the preloader of the INA Halloween episode, in which Linus sees a pimp in the pumpkin patch. It's not stolen frame by frame, but the concept is identical.

vigilcreations responds:

I think this is awesome! i can clearly see what the creator was trying to accomplish with this well executed masterpiece of wonderful goodie-goodness! The author was obviously making a point to hint to the upcoming plotline of the series. Also, if it turns out to "mimic" or "copy" any other work on newgrounds, then that proves only one point: That other people have seen "It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown" for this trailer is a perfect copy as copies can be copied, you stoopid wap, greaser, jap, chink, kike, honkie, nigger, pinko, SLUT! signed--someone who did not work on this.

Middle of the Road

This was alright, although I do have one suggestion: you need to learn how to use shape tweens, or not use them at all. I counted at least five instances when your shape tweens were just out of control and distracting.

Sometimes using a complex tool badly is more ineffective than using easy tools correctly.

ScarClock responds:

yeah, i know. ill work on that for ya, this is only my first animation.

I created Strategy Guide in 2003, retired from Flash animation in 2005. Always pondering a comeback and never actually doing so.
